Family portraits are so fun when you get the right photographer.  The location is nice and could add great ambiance, but if your family is together for a short time during the year, then just do it when you get the chance.  Blaine and his family were excited to get their family portraits.  It has been years since their last one and their college age daughter is away most of the time.  Well they folllowed their hearts and did the right thing.  They had their family picture.  So, what is holding you up?  Go find the right photographer get your family together and get it done.
